TIW Expandable Hanger /Packer Systems utilize expandable tubular technology to provide a metal to metal, high pressure annular seal between the liner and outer casing. The high strength expander is left in place once the hanger/packer has been expanded eliminating post expansion collapse rating reduction. The upper end of the expander is furnished with a honed receptacle suitable far a seal nipple with either conventional elastomer seals or a metal to metal dynamic ball seal.
The System is designed and manufactured utilizing standard OCTG materials and can match casing grades up to Q-125 in standard carbon steel. Additional systems are available in CRA materials.
The systems has been proven successful in both liner hangers and casing patch operations.
