	Granted a patent on the first automatic bottom-hole packer

--1964--
	Developed the Gold Seal Packoff Ring which ensures a positive seal for packers

	Received the patent for Packer-Bore Receptacle

--1973--
	Set a new industry record for ultra-deep completions with a 13,808 feet long, 600,000 pounds liner with a TD of 31,441 feet

	Developed and applied for patent on the Ramp Packoff System
	Developed the Sub Surface Disconnect System (SS-DS) for surface stack BOP deep water exploration rigs, allowing risers to be disconnected during hostile weather and reconnected at a later time
